R.E.A.L. is a security-oriented organization that enhances regional cooperation and capacity building to identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats, risks, and challenges in Latin America. These threats can arise from various sources, including organized crime, violent homicides, drug trafficking, transnational criminal networks, corruption, and cyber threats.

R.E.A.L. is committed to creating collaborative defense mechanisms and coordinated actions between the United States and Latin America. In today’s complex and evolving security environment, a unified front is essential to effectively address transnational threats such as organized crime, cyber-attacks, and terrorism.

R.E.A.L. is deeply committed to promoting development in Latin America through technological advancements and new initiatives. We partner to catalyze innovation by supporting research and development projects on emerging technologies and sustainable solutions.
democracy
R.E.A.L. is determined to foster and strengthen` democratic principles in Latin America. A primary area of work is addressing the growing challenge of hybrid regimes, which combine democratic facades with autocratic practices. These regimes pose a significant threat to the integrity of democratic institutions.
