Jessica Germano de Lima Silva, born in Rio de Janeiro-Brasil. Ph.D. in Maritime Studies (2023) from the Graduate Program in Maritime Studies at the Naval War College (PPGEM-EGN), affiliated with the Research Line on Politics, Management, and Logistics in Science, Technology, and Innovation in the Maritime Environment. Master’s degree from the same institution (2016). Graduated with academic distinction in Defense and International Strategic Management (2014) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Since 2014, a Researcher at the Conjuncture Assessment Unit (NAC-EGN), Geopolitical Current Research Group, Associate Editor, and Reviewer for the Geocurrent Bulletin, focusing on South, Central, North America, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Since 2018, the Leading Researcher of the Maritime-Naval Impact Trends Research Group at the Laboratory of Simulations and Scenarios (LSC-EGN) and Researcher at the Sea Economy Group (GEM-EGN). Collaborator at the Brazilian Navy’s Center for Political-Strategic Studies (CEPE-MB). Alumni (SDP2019/CTTN2023) and collaborating professor (CEPAC2023 – ESG/BR) at the William J.
