Aroldo Hurtado Vargas

Aroldo Hurtado, born in Colombia. Colonel of the Active Reserve of the National Army of Colombia with master’s degrees in Strategic Intelligence and perspective from the Jaume I University of Spain, with the title of Security Manager and sociopolitical analysis from the Intelligence School, Military Sciences from the General Military Cadet School José María Córdoba, experience in analysis, formulation, supervision, review of security processes, and project management, with specializations in national security and defense, research and electronic information, updated on current regulations, skilled at identifying and understanding social and security aspect, national security interests, with standards of quality, safety, reliability, experience in management and administration of personnel and state resources.​

ADVISOR: Armed Forces and Government of the Republic of Paraguay (2018) in Strategic and Prospective Intelligence, Intelligence Operations and the Organization, structuring, creation of operational processes, intelligence and ISO 9001​

During 29 years of experience in the National Army in the field of intelligence and counterintelligence, he held positions of analyst, case officer, company commander, operations officer, analysis and intelligence officer, executive and second commander, battalion commander, chief of staff and Brigade commander and Division head of state in different intelligence, counterintelligence and national Army units.​

Military instructor and professor at the Intelligence School of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Paraguay and the intelligence and counterintelligence school of the Colombian Army. Researcher and participant of the CREI Strategic Innovation and Review Committee of the National Army.​
